Time management course assignments

Assignment: Review the Assignments for this course, accessed by clicking on the Assignment tab at the top of your screen, and then selecting each Unit# – Assignment, reviewing the description, type, and deliverables. What questions do you have about these assignments in Units 1 – 4? What questions do you have about the overarching Unit 5 assignment? Although not due until the end of the class, it is important that you begin planning for this project early in the course. What are your initial thoughts about how you will approach this assignment? Explain.

While I have no questions now about Units 1-4 assignments, the project as a whole seems very overwhelming. There is quite a bit of jargon that I am not accustomed too, so it can make some of the material difficult to understand. In reviewing the assignment details, a lot of the different information is going to come from the same reports. There is no need to have to keep researching the same information if it already presents itself. With that being said, I plan to take ALL the information contained in the different units and place them in one document, so I can keep track of all the needed information and update it as I come across the pertinent information. Time management is going to be key in keeping up with this individual project. I found in Unit 1 that there is so much information about General Motors, so finding the information needed shouldnt be difficult, but knowing how much is too little or too much is going to be very difficult for me. Additionally, I know that I can overwhelm myself with too much research, so I am going to set limits on the number of articles, journals, or sites that I use for each section of the report. To keep myself on track with assignment due dates, I will use a personal calendar to allot specific time during the day and evening for each assignment and will adjust the timing as needed. Seeing how I work and have three children, whom all are involved in extracurricular activities, staying on top of my time and tasks in going to be pivotal in me being able to complete this assignment to the best of my ability.
